Your Home Cues provides free informational tools and general guidance for printer checks, device tests, remote setup and laundry care. Please read the limits below before acting on a result or instruction.
General information, not a professional assessment
Our pages, test patterns, downloads, illustrations, examples and checklists help you make your own checks. They do not replace the complete care label, the exact manufacturer’s instructions, a physical inspection or advice from a suitably qualified professional. We do not inspect your belongings or verify that a suggested action is suitable for your particular item.
No guaranteed result or additional warranty
We do not guarantee a particular cleaning, repair, diagnostic or compatibility result. Information can be incomplete, out of date or mistaken, and browser observations have limits. A test result does not certify that hardware is fault-free or safe, and a care example does not establish that your own garment can be washed or dried that way.
We make no additional promise that a tool will meet every purpose, prevent damage, or remove the need for professional advice. This statement does not take away legal standards, warranties or remedies that apply to the service, or excuse misleading descriptions.
Your decisions and precautions
- Use only devices and materials you are authorized to use. Check the complete care label and the instructions for your exact product, model, software version and any cleaning product or appliance.
- Laundry examples and drawings are illustrative. Fabric type, appearance, a checked checklist box or a missing label does not grant washing, bleaching, drying or ironing permission.
- Printer and device tests show only what the browser and selected equipment can produce or report. Results can vary with settings, consumables, permissions and hardware. Do not use them as safety certification or as the sole basis for a costly repair or purchase.
- Stop when an instruction conflicts with the manufacturer’s guidance, when an item appears damaged, or when the next step is unclear. Do not bypass safety features. Ask the manufacturer or a suitable professional before proceeding if you are unsure.
Responsibility for loss or damage
We do not accept responsibility for loss or damage that we did not cause, or that results solely from disregarding clear care labels, manufacturer instructions or warnings on this site. Examples include using a washing process that an item’s label prohibits or applying setup instructions to the wrong device model. This does not excuse our own negligence, misleading information, breach of legal duties, or responsibility for people acting on our behalf.
Using a tool does not by itself make us responsible for damage to clothing, fabrics, printers, devices or other property, wasted consumables, data loss, or an unsuccessful cleaning or repair. We do not promise to reimburse costs simply because a general suggestion did not solve a problem. Whether compensation is owed depends on what caused the loss and the rights and duties that apply under the law.
Rights and liabilities these terms do not exclude
These terms do not exclude or limit responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, intentional wrongdoing, gross negligence, or any other liability the law does not allow us to exclude or limit. Your mandatory consumer rights, data-protection rights and legal remedies remain intact, including protections under Uruguay’s applicable law and any mandatory protections in your country. These terms do not require you to use an exclusive court or give up those protections. You do not give up a right to compensation or to bring a lawful claim merely by using this site.

Your Home Cues is not affiliated with or endorsed by manufacturers mentioned. Brand names and third-party material belong to their respective owners. External sites have their own content, terms and services; a link does not guarantee their accuracy or availability. We do not control independent third-party acts. This does not remove responsibility for our own statements, conduct or legal obligations.
Availability and personal information
Tools may be updated, interrupted or discontinued. We do not promise uninterrupted access or suitability for business-critical operations. Service changes do not remove rights or remedies you already have. Our privacy notice explains data handling; these terms do not waive our privacy or security duties.
Changes to these terms
We may revise this page as the service changes and will display the updated date. Changes do not take away rights that arose before the change, change an existing agreement without legally required consent, or treat your silence as acceptance of new obligations. If a provision cannot lawfully apply, it does not prevent you from relying on the law or affect the other provisions that can lawfully apply.
