Privacy notice — draft for launch

Launch draft: operator identity and hosting retention information are being finalized.

Camera, microphone and device tests

Your Home Cues’s tools process device signals in your browser. Our application does not upload camera images, microphone audio, key presses, controller inputs or test results to our servers. Camera and microphone tests request permission only when you start them. Stop a test to release device access; browser permission settings may retain your choice.

Snapshots and short recordings are optional and begin only when you choose their capture action. They stay temporarily in this tab for preview or playback. Stopping the test, changing inputs or resolution, or leaving the page deletes these temporary captures. You can also delete a capture directly. Downloaded images and recordings remain on your device until you remove them. The camera test does not request microphone access; microphone playback starts only when you press Play.

Accounts, advertising and storage

This version has no accounts or advertising scripts. Tool selections remain in page memory and reset when the page reloads. We do not save test results in cookies or local storage. Copy actions place only the selected instructions on your clipboard after you click Copy.

Website analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand visits to our public pages. Reports include page views, referring sites, approximate location, and browser and device categories. Vercel uses request-derived visitor hashes and discards visitor sessions after 24 hours; it does not use analytics cookies.

We remove query strings and fragments from tracked page URLs, restrict tracking to our listed public pages, and suppress page views with potentially sensitive referrers. We do not send page views when your browser signals Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. No device-test results, camera images, microphone audio, keyboard inputs, or custom interaction events are sent by this integration.

Read how Vercel processes Web Analytics data.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics for visits that our hosting provider identifies as coming from the United States. Google Analytics stays off for other or unknown locations. It measures public page visits, referring sites, sessions and engagement, using analytics cookies with a maximum 90-day lifetime. Google receives ordinary connection information, browser and device categories, and approximate location. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled. Device-test inputs and results are not sent.

We send reviewed public page addresses without query strings or fragments. For external referring sites we send only the site origin, without its page path, query or fragment. Automatic form, search, scroll, outbound-link, video and download measurement is off. Standard session and engagement events may accompany page views.

Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control keeps Google Analytics off and removes this integration’s existing cookies when detected. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser. We do not use these analytics for advertising or send user IDs. Vercel provides the separate page analytics described above, so its traffic totals may differ from this regional Google report.

Google processes this data under its privacy policy. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Serving the website

Hosting infrastructure processes ordinary connection information, which can include IP address, browser details, requested pages and request times, to deliver and secure the website. This is separate from device-test signals. Hosting access controls may also use their own authentication cookies.

Contact requests

Our contact form opens on Tally rather than loading a third-party form on this page. We use your selected topic and message, along with any optional website page and reply address you submit, to handle your request. Avoid sending sensitive information. Tally processes form submissions under its own privacy policy.

The Tally form uses Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent automated spam. This bot check loads on the form, where Google processes information under its privacy policy.

External resources

Manufacturer and reference links lead to independent websites with their own privacy practices. We do not control their data handling.

Updates

We will revise this notice as the product and its data practices change. Operator identity and hosting retention information still need to be finalized. You can send privacy requests through our contact form.
